Dearest Reader,

It is with great pleasure and much excitement this author shares the news of a Bridgerton themed costume party to be held at the prestigious Event Center of Moorpark on Saturday, October 30, 2021.

Ladies, cinch your corsets and gentlemen don your top hats! Put on your best Bridgerton-inspired costume to fully enjoy your evening and enrich other guests’ experience. We have some fun plans up our puffy sleeves including a Victorian dance lesson, sweets and treats, spirits, contests, and dancing to music from the past and present.

The author wishes to note contemporary dancing may be a bit cumbersome in full regalia, so guests are invited to bring comfortable clothing to change into for the “After Party”. We will be playing a mix of West Coast Swing (contemporary/blues), Country 2 Step, Nightclub 2, and more.

If you haven’t watched the Bridgerton series, you will find lots of clips on YouTube. Costumes are available at Party City and local costume rental stores.
